Project Grimdark pt. 2

Based on a single search I've determined that "Grimdark" is the correct nomenclature.

[...ERROR LOCATING FILE RECORD...]

With the Rust-Oleum Walnut prime as the base I layzed (layered and glazed, I just made this up) Khorne Red and Mephiston Red, retaining quite a bit of walnut.  Gold, silver, keeping it all neat. The with all that blocked out, a black oil wash, followed by white spirit and Q-tip cleanup.

A bit of fluorescent green on the eye lenses and some more on the grill and neck part. Followed this buy dropping in highlights of silver and re establishing the reds with Mephiston and Reaper's Fresh Blood (kept the focus on the head, shoulders and top o the backpack). Did a bit of edge highlight but really didn't push it.

It's too clean...

I did the dirt dust and then the chipping. This was all backwards. In fact, the chipping should have been done before the oil wash, now we know.

All right, that was fast, fun, and it looks pretty dope.

And with the black base rim. Perfection.

Keep your tips pointy,
HMP
