The Zorn pallet is a simple pallet, using only black, white, red and a deep yellow. I though I'd give it a crack. I used Averland Sunset, and Mephiston Red, and a white (GW), and Reapers solid black.
After about 1.5 hours on each, I had this.
The contrast is a bit low, and the extra soft details of the Bones figure don't help. Overall I'm fairly pleased with the general experience and outcome. In the future I would prefer to use a better figure with crisper details, and I would try to get more depth in the dark regions. The reality is that the only thing with a shorter life expectancy than "henchman #4", is some NPC peasant.
Since there's only 4 paints it should be fairly straightforward to jump back in.
They're a bit cross eyed, which I'll attribute (blame) to the sculpt, but it's better than the amorphous gray blob that Reaper passes off as a BONES figure.
I didn't even clean the mold lines...
Keep your brushes clean,
HMP
