Trolls

 The Trolls are almost done!

They suck. I made several poor choices when painting them, starting with the color. Uggh. Yellow sucks. Never really tried to paint yellow skin before, might take a break before I try again. The key is a really light undercoat. Mine was too dark in many areas. Live and learn.

 

The second reason that thy suck is that they're big enough to have detail that you want to pant, and small enough to make it terribly hard. The Goblins are so small and in such mass that you kinda just get the min points and things aren't too terrible. But the Trolls have eyes...

 

There's the comparison shot, which gives you a sense of how big the Trolls are compared to the Goblins. Maybe a break with a new project this week?
